Nature of the Sample: 1,029 New York State Registered Voters

This survey of 1,029 registered voters in New York State was conducted on April 28^th through April 29^th, 2009.  Registered voters were interviewed by telephone in proportion to the voter registration in each county in New York and adjusted for turnout in statewide elections. Results are statistically significant at ±3%. There are 454 Democrats and 285 Republicans. Results for these subsamples are statistically significant at ±4.5% and ±6%, respectively. The error margin increases for cross-tabulations.
